Tell Me a Real Adoption Story by Betty Jean Lifton

Written by an adoptee for adoptees

Most others are written for the benefit of the adoptive parents. This one is special and the only one I'd read to a little adoptling

Well, i have yet to find an adoption book i like for young children.

These books are in general uplifting and make you feel good for being you no matter how different you are.

"Hooray for you!" A celebration of "you-ness" by: Marianne Richmond

"Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon" by: Patty Lovell

This book has always been a family favorite......

"It's okay to be different" by Todd Parr

ETA: I have as of yet, not had the free time to check out Heather's suggestion. I'm sure it is good.
